Transplant Bingo

Transplant Evaluation 101

It sounds way scarier than it sounds. Here's what to expect:

  1. You will check and receive a checklist (aka bingo) and a binder.

  2. You will watch a 45 minute video about transplant surgery.

  3. You will meet with YOUR transplant Nephrologist.

  4. You will meet with YOUR surgeon.

  5. You will meet with YOUR transplant coordinator.

  6. You will meet with YOUR social worker.

  7. You will meet with YOUR financial coordinator.

  8. You will get some blood work done.

  9. You will get an EKG.

  10. You will get a chest XRay.

  11. You will be there for 5 - 6 hours. Bring a snack.

  12. You will leave with information overload.
