Life by the Numbers

Happy New Year. The last bit of 2017 was a bit C R A Z Y. My foot was run over by an uber driver, I knocked myself almost unconscious and had to get stitches and last but not least we made a decision to move. B O O M.

2018 is going to be about controlling the controllable. I just had my check up and no big surprise but my kidney function in still declining. Slowly. Like real slow. See below chart. I don't feel sicker or anything. Which is good - I guess? As long as I keep my other numbers under control we are just sitting tight.

I do plan on bringing more awareness to living organ donation in 2018. Possibly design some t-shirts, create a campaign around it. The possibilities are endless and I have the means and the resources to get them done in a premium way. Would you buy a t-shirt? My hope is that anyone reading this is signed up to be an organ donor. I know its scary. And for the record I am a registered organ donor. Since we have not been able to find a direct donor my life will likely be saved by a stranger. Isn't that W I L D.

We don't even say hi to people we see on the train and/or streets everyday. Why is that? Let's all commit to be being better to ourselves and each other in 2018. Be in touch soon.

PS I have to give a big shout out to my wife and everyone at my job for respecting my phosphorus levels and making sure I had the best birthday ever. Its the little things that make all the difference.
